Information about title:
In 1902, ECS began publishing technical content with Volume 1 of Transactions of the American Electrochemical Society. In 1931, the Society changed its name and subsequently changed the title of the publication to Transactions of The Electrochemical Society with no break in the volume numbering sequence. The Society began publishing articles in the Journal of The Electrochemical Society in 1948. For two years, 1948 and 1949, identical content was published under both titles: Transactions of The Electrochemical Society, which ceased published in 1949, and the Journal of The Electrochemical Society, again with no break in the volume numbering sequence. After 1950 no further changes were made to the title and it remains to this day as the Journal of The Electrochemical Society.
Today volumes 77-107 (only articles, no indexes).
