Here are the 2 US equivalent patents. The plus is US patents are always much shorter (in this case 24 and 26 pages, respectively, versus 72 pages for the European one). Usually, it is best to search patents on espacenet.com, because they will list all the sister patents, and you can pick the one you like (a small number of them may not be available for downloading). On the other hand, it is better to download them from Google Patents (fewer available for download, for certain US and EP, maybe WO), as they come (partially) OCR-ed.
