A US company intends to develop an R&D center in Saint-Petersburg, Russia. A person hired into this role will start and manage this strategic effort.
Responsibilities:
• Implement the company’s research and development strategy in Russia
• Create a portfolio of research and development projects that match the interests of the company
• Manage specific projects in terms of scope, milestones, budget, intellectual property and export compliance
Candidate Requirements:
• Education: chemistry, physics or other technical discipline
• Demonstrated ability in effective management of research, R&D or industrial projects
• Well-developed connections in academia and research community
• Connections in CRO or industrial companies
• Effective communication skills and fluent English
• Willingness to travel
• A management degree is a plus
