A big western oil & gas company is searching for Production Chemist Engineer (Team leader).
Main functions:
Chemical treatment program to prevent ESP, SRP, PCP, production tubing, pipelines and equipment from corrosion, scale, etc.: Scale Inhibition / Production Chemistry Pilot Projects.
Manage regions based Chemical programs of chemical feed maintenance and chemical consumption monitoring. Assist with chemical selection, purchase and treatment dosage with aim for better performance and chemical cost reductions.
Supervise process for selection and field testing of chemicals used for oil production enhancement.
Assist in development and implementation of oil, gas and produced water chemical treatment program: asphaltene inhibitor, emulsion breaker, reverse emulsion breaker, oxygen scavenger, liquid and gas corrosion inhibitor and biocide.
Regional supervision of the Chemical Managed Services (CMS) Project; contractor all inclusive program management services for provisions of chemicals and field personnel.
Requirements:
Higher education (College Degree): Oil and Gas Field Development and Operation,
M Sc. Chemical Engineer
Good skills in wells operation, pipelines operation, methods of inhibition (scale, corrosion, salt deposition removal, hydrates).
Excellent knowledge of oil and water facilities and process equipment with experience work on light, medium light and heavy oil production facilities.
Good English (spoken, intermediate written)
Minimum 10 years of experience in Production Chemistry and Chemical Enhancement Operations.
Minimum 10 years of experience in Oil & Gas Field Development Operations.
