учебник по механизмам органических реакций

Пожалуйста, посоветуйте хороший, не шибко заумный современный учебник по механизмам органических реакций на английском!
( Шеф потребовал, чтобы я провел курс лекций по механизмам реакций для наших лаборантов. Он думается надеется не на то, что они что-то поймут, а видимо на то, что я сам с ними разберусь в ходе подготовки лекций, так как именно механизмы реакций - мое слабое место...)

ну или можете Марча взять конечно, это если для реальных спецов

Levy. Arrow-Pushing in Organic Chemistry (2008)
должны быть на гигапедии. Если не найдете, напишите - выложу.

Есть такая программа Organic Reaction Animation v2.0 Там можно найти анимацию на более полусотни наиболее известных механизмов органических реакций. Есть немного описания и даже вопросы (с ответами). К ней понадобится QuickTime Player, который также легко найти.

IMHO, само то для начинающих.

Марч, кстати, тот что на русский переведён, и школьнику понятен.

Неа, не учебник. Но тоже вещь полезная в хозяйстве органическом
Lowry, Richardson - да, серьезные товарищи... Но книга неплохая
А книги Марча и Сайкса проверены не одним поколением химиков-органиков, выдержали несколько переизданий, поэтому по праву считаются классикой. Да и читать их легко, хоть на русском, хоть на английском

Купил, чтобы освежить знания по органической химии и был удивлен тем, как много вещей я превратно понимал и как много не знал. На редкость хорошая книга.

A best-selling mechanistic organic chemistry text in Germany, this text's translation into English fills a long-existing need for a modern, thorough and accessible treatment of reaction mechanisms for students of organic chemistry at the advanced undergraduate and graduate level. Knowledge of reaction mechanisms is essential to all applied areas of organic chemistry; this text fulfills that need by presenting the right material at the right level.
Organic chemistry textbooks are generally aimed either at beginners or more advanced students. However, Reinhard Brückner’s “Advanced Organic Chemistry” is a work that can accommodate either undergraduate or graduate students.
The chapters are organized thematically, and contain sections that are targeted at both novice as well as more experienced students. The student working toward a first degree in chemistry can postpone study of those sections that are identified as advanced work, while the student pursuing an advanced degree can work through the entire text.
With its focus on reaction mechanisms, the Brückner text serves as an illustrative supplement to conventional textbooks, while it cannot replace them. The strengths of "Advanced Organic Chemistry" clearly lie in its very good explanations of mechanisms, the cleverly chosen examples (Brückner employs significantly fewer R-groups than other authors), and the literature citations for further reading.
For some of the mechanisms, such as SN1 and SN2, the examples are tabulated so that it is easy to recognize which is the relevant mechanism. The style of "Advanced Organic Chemistry" is generally engaging, and leads to a ready understanding, even of problematic chemical relationships.
