Startup company QUANTUM SOLUTIONS (www.quantum-solutions.com), a developer and manufacturer of quantum dots and metallic nanoparticles, is looking for a “Production Specialist”
Key responsibilities
• Quantum dots and metallic nanoparticles synthesis: synthesize quantum dots and metallic nanoparticles for commercial customers, order chemicals and consumables
• Quality control: provide quality control (e.g. measurements of photoluminescence and absorption, photoluminescence quantum yield, TEM, SEM etc.)
• Production optimization and scaling up: optimize production methods, assemble production lines (batch and flow reactors), scale up production capacities
• General involvement: participate in product development process and other company’s daily processes, problem solving, brain storming etc.
Required experience/skills
• Desire to work for a high tech startup company and manufacture innovative quantum dots and nanoparticles for commercial purposes
• Experience on quantum dots or other nanoparticles synthesis
• B.S. or M.S. in either chemistry, material science or related fields
• Proven synthetic skills and accuracy
• Communicate and work well with multidisciplinary groups
• Advanced English
