We are searching for motivated candidates for realisation of a PhD research project in the area of Fischer-Tropsch synthesis, reactor engineering and modelling.
The project will be performed in collaboration with IFP Energies Nouvelles and will focus on the assessment of the high-throughput approach for the Fischer-Tropsch catalyst screening. The research strategy will address identification and comparison of the hydrodynamics and kinetics of Fischer-Tropsch synthesis in different reactors. The experimental work will involve a laboratory fixed bed reactor, an autoclave slurry reactor and a high throughput experimentation unit with 16 parallel millifixed bed reactors.
Your profile:
• Master in catalysis or chemical engineering;
• Fluent English or French is mandatory;
• You ideally have experience with catalysis experimentation (catalysts, reactors) and reactor modelling.
